Through their work, they breathe new life into forgotten items and offer us fresh perspectives on the ordinary. Toy Resurrection Clinic is the collaborative project of artists Yimu and Lin Jianying. Together, they specialize in reviving lost, broken, or overlooked things—whether physical objects, emotions, or stories—through installations, drawings, conceptual toys, and videos. Their work is both playful and profound, rooted in memory and emotion, and always reaching toward a deeper understanding of our connection to the world. Lin Jianying began with independent comics, using sharp humor and storytelling to explore social themes. Yimu works across installation, sculpture, and poetry, crafting deeply felt pieces that connect the personal to the cosmic. Together, they create art that challenges how we define usefulness, value, and meaning.
