About the archive

We're glad you found your way here.

This site archives the talks from TEDxXiguan (2014 to 2019) and TEDxGuangzhou (2020 to 2023). The official licenses were held by Jimmy A. Tan, together with a passionate and dedicated team of volunteers who organized each event.

TEDx is a local-event brand licensed by TED, one event at a time. Our licensing cycle has ended. If a future TEDxGuangzhou event appears, it will be run by a new and independent team, unrelated to the team behind this archive.

We wanted to give these ideas, first spoken in Guangzhou, a quiet place to stay. Many of the talks are years old now, and still worth hearing.

The archive holds 69 talks from 8 events across 2015 to 2023. We don't plan to add new content; this is a finished archive. Come back whenever you like. There's usually something you missed last time.
