One night, after finishing a gig at a bar, he stood alone on a quiet street at 4 a.m., wondering if what he did mattered. He thought, “I’m not as grounded as a street cleaner, nor as comforting as a chef who can serve warm meals.” No matter how beautiful the melody, does it really mean anything in the real world? But over time, he found his answer—and his belonging—in music. He came to believe that music is vast and eternal.
